Aligned Influence Book Club
About CourseWithin every organization is an “ecosystem” of influencers. In organizations with boards of directors and executives, that ecosystem is even more complex. Therefore, it is even more important to understand it for the benefit of everyone, including the investors/donors. To date, governance models have provided little to no understanding of this ecosystem of influence, leaving this as an ongoing problem in organizations with the complexity of a board and executive. Governance experts have applied a number of inadequate solutions to a problem they still do not grasp. Within Ken Schuetz NEW book Aligned Influence®, Schuetz presents the Aligned Influence® model, which offers a unique perspective to this central problem and a solution that addresses organizational alignment as a necessary prerequisite to effectiveness.
Throughout this five week book club, Ken Schuetz, author and founder of Aligned Influence, and Ken Cates, executive director of Fort Hood Area Habitat for Humanity, will walk you through how to equip yourself, whether a board member or executive, with a clear way forward in your roles together by helping you understand why and how to improve. Each session will review the content presented in the chapters, while also providing opportunity for break out rooms, discussions, and Q&A. This is a great opportunity for all executive directors and their boards of directors.
This book club will occur each Wednesday for five weeks from 12:00-1:30 pm CST beginning October 6, 2021. Participants are required to attend the live sessions. Registration is $15, and the Aligned Influence® book can be purchased online HERE .
