Week One (9/8 to 9/14, 2023)
Understanding Philanthropy and Annual Sustainability – this course will introduce participants to professional fundraising, trends, and tools for annual sustainability such as annual fund, recurring gifts, and events.

Week Two (9/15 to 9/21, 2023)
Major Gifts and Making the Ask – this course will discuss the giving cycle for major gifts and will discuss identification, cultivation, and give participants the opportunity to practice making an ask. It will include the basics, just a nod to planned giving.

Week Three (9/22 to 9/28, 2023)
Importance of Fundraising Operations – this course explains the importance of the backend development functions such as database management, gift processing, stewardship, and how use databases to make your fundraising most effective.

Week Four (9/29 to 10/5, 2023)
Managing Fundraising Campaigns – this course will help participants understand the steps in a fundraising campaign from feasibility studies, to developing a case statement, and how to manage the office and volunteers during a campaign.

Week Five (10/6 to 10/12, 2023)
Governance and Board Fundraising – this course will explain nonprofit board governance and specifically provide tools for how the affiliates can engage their boards in creating a culture of philanthropy at their affiliate through training, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
