* Eligibility is open to affiliates that averaged at least one new house or large rehab per year for FY 16-18.
* The grant can provide up to $105,000 over a three year period, $100,000 for salary and $5000 for training. The salary award diminishes over time so that HFHI pays 100% of new position’s salary (not benefits) the first year, 70% the second year, 30% the last year.
* The grant cannot fund direct fund-raising and direct construction positions.
* Funding examples include: first time ED; volunteer, family services, faith relations and community outreach coordinators; ReStore and second store managers; operations directors; finance people; qualified loan originators etc
* The grant includes consultant and reporting help.
