To begin, you will need to create a free Habitat Texas account at habitattexas.org. If you created an account previously, you do NOT need to create a new account. Once you are logged in to your account, add the courses you want to your cart and follow the prompts to complete the purchase.

After registering for a course, make sure you are logged in to your account and then click on the course you want to complete. Once on the course homepage, select the green “Start Lesson” button, which will take you to the content portion of the course. If you are participating in a live webinar, you will find the Zoom login information. If the webinar has already occurred, then you will see the list of lessons.

To download your certificate, you must complete all lessons and quizzes for the course. If a lesson does not include a video, click “Complete Lesson” on the top right hand side of the screen before continuing on. Once everything is completed, return to the course homepage. Now, you should see a gray button on the ride side of the screen that says “Complete Course.” When you move your arrow over that button, it should turn blue. Click that button. Next, the page should automatically reload and the “Complete Course” button should now read “Download Certificate.”

We are very happy to walk you through the system before the sessions begin, so you are comfortable accessing the online portal. Just email our Community Outreach Officer at sarah@habitattexas.org for assistance.
