• Thank you so much for your help in ensuring everyone has a safe and decent place to live. You are a miracle!
  • Thank you for your gift and help in ensuring everyone has a safe and decent place to live. Wow!
  • Thank you so much for helping us ensure that everyone has a safe and decent place to live. We could not do this without your support.
  • Thank you so much for your help in ensuring everyone has a safe and decent place to live. We cannot do our work without you (and we wouldn't want to do it without you, either!). By giving a recurring gift, you help give us the stability that is so important to our homeowners. A recurring donation of $83.33 per month, less than a cup of coffee per day, builds up to be $1,000 a year, but even $10 or $20 per month makes a difference. It also makes you our hero!
  • Thank you for your donation. Your gift helps us work toward a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
  • One of the key roles for Habitat Texas is its role in advocating for home in the state legislature. Part of that is actively monitoring legislation and educating policy makers on its impact. Part of it is the research we need to support our efforts and to provide resources for affiliates to support community advocacy and grant writing. Examples of past research and advocacy events include an economic impact study and research on healthcare and homes, in addition to the 2019 Capitol Build. For 2022, Habitat Texas is hosting the second Day at the Dome Capitol Build to construct the walls of a Habitat home for a local Veteran and his wife who are raising their three grandchildren.
  • This fund allows us to bring you timely topics throughout the year. For example, in 2020, we hosted a series of COVID response calls that brought more than 700 participants with topics on mortgage forebearance, workplace considerations, applying for the PPP, coping through the stress of disaster, retail considerations, and more. Additionally, we use this fund to offer scholarships to people and affiliates to participate in our programs who would otherwise not be able to attend.
