From the beginning, Habitat for Humanity has been built on dedicated volunteers. Volunteers are an incredible resource that can expand a nonprofit’s capacity and ability to achieve its mission and vision. Dive into this six week intensive Certificate Program to discover how to build and manage a successful volunteer program at your nonprofit.
Habitat Texas’ Certificate in Volunteer Management will occur over six weeks, meeting each Friday from 9 am – 4 pm CST (with an hour break for lunch). The curriculum was designed in partnership with the Center for Nonprofit Studies at Austin Community College. Upon successful completion, participants will earn a Certificate of Volunteer Management and 3.6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
This course will benefit Habitat affiliates and anyone in the nonprofit sector through learning about the volunteer management process and developing leadership skills and techniques.
